Harry Kane's sticking around Munich. The England captain and this year's Ballon d'Or winner signed a fresh contract extension with Bayern that'll keep him there until 2029, the club confirmed.

"I love the club, fans and the city of Munich," Kane said in the announcement. Fair enough—he's had a pretty good time since arriving from Tottenham in 2023.

The numbers speak for themselves. Kane's banged in 156 goals across 161 competitive matches for Bayern, which is honestly ridiculous. He's helped drag the club to two Bundesliga titles and a DFB Cup in that span. The guy wasn't exactly a flop when he made that €100m move three years ago.

So yeah, this extension makes sense. Bayern aren't about to let their main goal-scorer walk, especially not after he just won football's biggest individual award. Kane's 33 now, but he's still operating at a level that makes defenders miserable. Keeping him locked down through the end of the decade gives Munich some stability up front.

It's a statement too—Bayern basically saying they're building around him, not shipping him out before his value drops. Smart business, really.
